It promotes and supports a wide range of music and artists across house, disco and futuristic genres. The brand was established in 2011 through the website (www.purpsoul.com ), which quickly became the industries primary source for the latest releases, news, interviews and mixes.

In 2012 owner ‘Chris Farnworth’ was joined by DJ/Producer and good friend ‘Ben Pearce’ as a Creative Director to help launch and co-run Purp & Soul Records. The label was built upon the same solid foundations and a true family ethos. The label continues to mature and develop as the artists involved continue to grow. With 1000′s of downloads upon their free EP series, and with their official releases having continued success in the charts and major support worldwide.

Artist growth and development being paramount to their family, they continue to grow their family; a range of hand-picked producers with extraordinary amounts of talent and potential. With artists signed to labels such as ‘Under The Shade’ ‘ Akbal’ ‘Nurvous’ ‘Sleazy Deep’ ‘Stranjjur’ and many more they have gained support from the most respected DJ’s such as Solomun, Danny Daze and David August.
